Hi, I’m Andy.

I live my life according to six core values.

Wellness | Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health

Connection | A shared sense of being present

Curiosity | Open, vulnerable, and ready to listen

Inspiration | My purpose is to inspire others

Authenticity | Remain true to myself and my values

Rebalancing | Nurturing all parts of my life

I am extremely curious about knowing people

…and am most fully engaged with my own life when I am deeply engaged in assisting others along their journey. I like to ask deep questions and am not terribly interested in small talk. I have had a tremendous amount of success in my life, both professionally and as a Division I soccer player, but my failures have by far been the most instructive teachers.

I was often disappointed in myself for not having a clear, decisive, and sustainable career vision. I was sometimes unsatisfied and restless in my work, but unsure how to proceed. I now follow my curiosity and live almost entirely from the inside out — following my own sense of what will be the most regenerative use of my energy and abilities.

A pivotal year that informed many of my current philosophies…

…was my time spent in Germany during college, which was a grand experiment in stripping away everything familiar. I navigated periods of excitement, depression, frustration, and eventually developed a deeper sense of humility, compassion, and self-awareness. By the end of the year, the unfamiliar had become a sense of comfort and familiarity, which would lead me to eventually spend another 4 years living outside of the US.

I have had two distinct careers in my life: high tech, and education. Both brought me to the realization that I want to be of service in a coaching capacity. In the tech industry, I learned that I enjoyed helping clients find solutions to their problems. I also loved teaching classes to sales teams, which led me to receive my Masters in Education and teaching license.

I then found myself teaching SAT classes and running a private test prep academy in Austin, TX. What I loved most about this role was helping students change the way they saw themselves, and guiding them in their development of a growth mindset for life.

My past experiences have led me here: to coaching.
